Terms of Use

The client is engaging Xploramedia Tech - Services, located in 17120 Miss Grace Drive, Canyon Country CA 91387, as an independent contractor for the specific project of repair,hardware installations,virus removals, PC optimizations, The client hereby authorizes Xploramedia to access their computer and authorizes the Technician to enter the files and contents in order to  “ Fix” the computers malfunctioning state. Client gives  Xploramedia with "write permission" for the client's contents be backed up prior to any work be started in the Technician deems it necessary. We will repair existing software but are not responsible for lost programs that are not licensed, pirated or copied.

 

Terms of Service:

· Customer is responsible for ensuring that wireless networking does not violate the terms of service with their internet providers. Customer is responsible for any and all charges assessed by their broadband internet service provider and acknowledges there may be additional fees charged by their broadband internet service provider for connecting more than one computer to a single internet service provider (ISP) connection.

· Customer is responsible for ensuring that existing PC products are installed and functioning prior to the technician's arrival.

· Customer must provide phone and network jacks (if hard-wired) located in the same room as the work being completed and within reach of their customer provided cabling. In no event shall the technician be responsible for providing any inside cabling or wiring services.

· Customer must provide all manuals, original software and license keys necessary to perform the installation service.

· Customer must have broadband installed and fully functional on at least one of the PCs to be networked.

· One PC service includes up to a total of three (3) locally connected/wired peripherals. Customer must have all such said” peripherals” unpackaged and ready for connection.

· Customer must have all PCs installed and fully functional prior to the arrival of the technician.

· If the Network hardware to be installed is determined to be DOA, the Technician will inform the customer they need to return the hardware items for replacement and reschedule the installation while the Technician is on-site, if possible. The Technician may also inform the customer they may call to reschedule the installation service to another available date.

Service does not include:

· Relocation of the product, hardware equipment or moving any furniture. Items or objects must be free and accessible to the Technician.

· De-installation of computers or peripherals.

· Removal of trash or products from site.

· Software application transfer between computers.

· Moving of furniture, set-up/preparation.

· Detailed on-site training on specific applications.
